In each case, the purpose for which you are invited to provide us with information should be listed.
We will not use your information for purposes that are not clear when you provide your details and we will not disclose it outside MWEF, except to service providers acting on our behalf or in other very limited circumstances, for example, with your consent or where we are legally obliged to do so.
Where you no longer wish to receive information from us, we will in each correspondence with you provide you with an opportunity to inform us that you no longer wish to receive such information from us.
Alternatively you can contact us and we will update or delete the information we hold about you.
When applying for a grant from us or when providing your contact details via this website, you can expect to be contacted by us via telephone and / or email in relation to the request and / or announcements or updates to our products and services.
Whenever sending an email or other communication to us, we may retain this communication in order to process your queries, respond to requests and/ or improve our services.
We will not keep your data longer than is necessary, it will be securely deleted in accordance with our data protection policy. e.g. 2 years from last contact or 6 years for gift aid records.
MWEF stores information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and is currently exempt from ICO registration. (This will be reviewed should our use change).

Privacy of Information Submitted by Supporters in relation to their donations and Gift Aid Claims
Marjorie Willis Educational Foundation needs to store information relating to Supporters and their Donations.
Our primary record of donors and donations is held on the donation manager platform operated by Raise Your Profile Ltd.
Additionally we use third party payment providers to ensure we meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) to protect cardholder information. These systems will hold the information needed for the processing of payments.
Please note that these payment providers have their own privacy policies, we can provide details if required.
If payment information is provided to MWEF using paper forms, we will keep these securely and destroy them when no longer required.
Privacy of Information Submitted by Supporters via third parties
We use third party providers for some of our fundraising activities, this includes wonderful.org, donr.com and others.
These third party providers all have their own privacy policies which we will comply with.
These providers usually allow us to export supporter contact information where consent has been given.
We will usually import this information into donation manager. Our primary record of supporter’s donors and donations.
