ABK Club
Purpose
The purpose of the ABK Club is to raise funds for the school.The money will be paid into the Marjorie Willis bank account and the balance after paying out prizes will used to meet funding requests from the school, providing equipment, resources and opportunities for pupils, that are not available from normal educational funding.
The ABK Club will only commence or continue to run if it is financially viable, by law at least 20% of the funds raised must be available for the school.
We will initially ask people to submit an expression of interest form. If numbers are reached, then we will send out sign up information.
Rules, Terms and Conditions
- Each £2 monthly subscription will be allocated a unique number
- Numbers are limited to two per household (or card number).
- The draw will be made on or near the 10th of the month (excluding August).
- 50% of the previous months subscriptions will be paid out as prizes to the winning numbers as follows:

- The subscription for July (no Draw in August) will be added to the payouts in the December draw as additional/increased prizes.
- If the number of members is between the figures listed in the table the difference will be added to a subsequent month as an additional £25 prize.
- The Prize structure is intended to achieve a good chance of winning.
- The ABK club is a legally defined as a small society lottery* and is open to all parents, carers, staff and friends of Alderbrook School.
Trustees of Marjorie Willis or their immediate families are not allowed to join. - Anyone aged 16 or over can join. You will need an email address.
- Payments must be made by a recurring monthly card subscription.
- Please contact us if you wish to cancel your subscription.
- If card payments fail, for any reason, we will send you an email reminder.
- If a payment is not received your number will not be included in the following draw.
- After 2 missed payments you will be deemed to have left the club and may not rejoin for 6 months.
- The draw will be made using an on-line random number system: https://pickerwheel.com/tools/random-number-generator/
- The results will be available on the Marjorie Willis Website and shared via usual school communications.
- Prizes will take the form of shopping vouchers, which will be issued to prize winners via an email containing the code to redeem the voucher.
Data Protection
- We use an approved secure payment provider and do not have access to your card details, apart from the last 4 digits of your card number.
- We will only keep your Name, Email address, phone number and last 4 card digits for the purpose of running the ABK club.
- We will only contact you concerning payment issues and to issue prizes.
- Public prize notifications will only use your first name and member number.
- We will keep your details securely.
